Microsoft Plus! for Windows 98 supplied several themes, this is a Science one.
 
"2x" means cursors have to be magnified by factor 2 to provide comparable look and feel on modern 1920x1080 displays as on 640x480 back in those days. CursorFX's built-in magnification is suffering from antialiasing.
